All NuPower BDAs are designed, built and tested in-house under NuWaves’ Quality Management System (QMS) certified to AS9100:2009 and ISO 9001-2008 standards, which ensures that each product arrives on-time and defect-free. Each BDA typically accepts a nominal +5 dBm RF input and is packed with robust features providing reverse- & over-voltage protection, over-current protection, and thermal shutdown for out-of-spec conditions. In addition, Xtender BDAs feature rapid transmit auto-detection and switching (<1.5 μS), and an integrated LNA. Each unit includes a standard 9-pin micro D connector with flying leads which provides out-of-the-box operation. An accessory kit is available as an option for every NuPower amplifier that includes a fan-cooled heatsink with associated power supply and an upgragded interface cable terminated with banana plugs.
