NuPower Xtender™ C15RX01 C-Band Bidirectional Amplifier
The NuPower Xtender™ C15RX01 Bidirectional C-Band Amplifier module is a small, broadband, high-performance RF amplifier that generates 15 Watts (minimum) of RF power across the C-Band frequency range of 4400 to 4900 MHz.
The NuPower Xtender C15RX01 C-Band RF bidirectional amplifier is ideal for extending the communication range of half-duplex transceivers with constant-envelope waveforms (i.e. PSK- and FSK-based modulations, such as SOQPSK and GFSK), and generates 15 Watts of RF transmit power. In receive mode, the NuPower Xtender offers a low noise figure of 3.5 dB and a low noise amplifier that provides 10 dB of gain. The module accepts a nominal +0 dBm input level and provides a minimum of 43 dB of transmit gain, all while operating with 35% or better power efficiency at most frequencies.
The NuPower Xtender features manual transmit / receive (T/R) mode selection, coupled with an extremely fast T/R mode switch time of 2 μS.
With a small form factor (17.6 cubic inches) and state-of-the-art Gallium Nitride (GaN) power amplifier device technology, the NuPower Xtender Bidirectional C-Band PA module is ideal for broadband RF telemetry and communication systems that require reliability and minimal size, weight, and power consumption (SWaP).
